Visiting the old town in Las Palmas

Although I have spent the last month mostly working on Moonshadow to get her ready for the crossing, I did find time to visit the old city of Las Palmas. The old town gravitates around the 'Catedral Metropolitana de Santa Ana' which is quite beautiful. The old town contrasts immensely with the 'new' Las Palmas which is very built up with business towers and many of the amenities of a contemporary city. Enjoy these few shots!
